Effective date: 19 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how RemoteWek Consult Ltd. (referred to as “Wek”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you visit WekOps.com, join our early-access list, contact us, participate in product research, or otherwise interact with Wek.

1. Who is responsible for your data

RemoteWek Consult Ltd. is responsible for the personal data described in this Policy. Questions, requests, and privacy concerns may be sent to legal@wekops.com.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

We do not intentionally collect payment-card information through this marketing website. Payments introduced later may be processed by authorised payment providers under their own privacy terms.

3. How we collect data

We collect data directly from you when you submit a form or contact us; automatically when you use the website; and from service providers that support hosting, security, communications, analytics, and form processing. We may also receive information from integrations you deliberately connect to the Wek platform.

4. Why we use personal data

We may process personal data to:

5. Legal grounds and Ghana data-protection principles

We process personal data where we have consent, where processing is necessary to provide a requested service or take steps at your request, where we have a legitimate business purpose that does not override your rights, or where law requires it. We aim to follow the accountability, lawfulness, purpose specification, data quality, openness, security, and data-subject participation principles under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

6. When we share data

We do not sell personal data. We may share only what is necessary with trusted providers supporting hosting, cloud infrastructure, email, forms, analytics, security, professional advice, and business administration. Providers must process data for authorised purposes and apply appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, during a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent.

7. International processing

Some providers may process information outside Ghana. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we will take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards consistent with applicable law.

8. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including service delivery, security, dispute resolution, record keeping, and legal compliance. Early-access information may be retained while the programme remains relevant or until you withdraw your request, subject to lawful retention requirements. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you believe your information or account may have been compromised.

10. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data; withdraw consent; or unsubscribe from marketing. You may also ask for information about how your data is used. Send requests to legal@wekops.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law permits or requires.

11. Children’s privacy

Wek is intended for businesses and adults authorised to act for them. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data to us.

12. Third-party services and links

Our website may link to services we do not control, including LinkedIn and future integrations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information.

13. Complaints

Please contact us first at legal@wekops.com so we can address your concern. You may also have the right to complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.
